The two diseases were added to the preventive services available in 2012 to Medicare beneficiaries as part of several new changes to the federal entitlement program, which also includes larger price breaks in the “donut hole” for prescription drugs and an increase in the monthly premiums.

What will happen to these changes, however, remains unclear. The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to make a ruling this summer, whether provisions in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) are constitutional or not.

RACINE – Overcharged for 24 years on her property taxes, 84-year-old Angie France now wants the city to repay her the money she could have used during the years she cared for her ailing husband until his death.
